More than a game, a piece of History
Since 1848, Grimaud invites players of all ages to share a moment of discovery and play while exploring some of France’s most beloved tales
A Game That Brings People Together
In an age dominated by screens, some objects retain a rare power: the ability to gather people around a table, to shuffle cards, to observe illustrations, and to exchange stories. A card game creates a moment where time slows down and conversations unfold naturally. Since 1848, Grimaud has upheld the belief that a game can be far more than simple entertainment: it can be an object of culture, transmission, and connection.

Happy Families Reimagined Through La Fontaine's Fables
In this game, seven major fables by Jean de La Fontaine become seven families of cards. Each family mirrors the narrative structure of its fable: characters, situation, stakes, flaw, and moral. The cards thus become fragments of a story that players gradually reconstruct as the game unfolds.
Thomas Baas offers a contemporary interpretation filled with humor, tenderness, and sensitivity. His characters embody universal archetypes in which everyone can recognize a part of themselves.
